I got my first digital camera as a gift shortly before leaving to live in Japan for a year as an exchange student. For some horrible reason, I didn't have a reliable way to back up the pictures I took, so I didn't take nearly as many pictures as I wanted to in the interest of saving memory card space.

In retrospect, that might not have been so bad, because now I take an average of 40+ pictures per day (and there are plenty of days where I don't take any pictures). I guess I like to think of it as a photo-diary of my life, mostly because I have a really terrible memory. Pictures or it didn't happen!

I organize everything in my life chronologically. I kinda hate that Flickr won't let me hide my photostream... this is how I want people to see my pictures: www.flickr.com/photos/kurtasbestos/sets/

When I fall behind with my Flickr account (which is most of the time), you can get a vague glimpse into my life at: kurtasbestos.blogspot.com

Kurt is some kind of special awesome that exists on two planes of existence, when he isn't busy forgetting languages long lost to the moon, or riding his moped into the sunset. Furniture shop blues
