Hei!'s photographic recordings of his Japan travels first attracted me herein. They were all detailed, almost architectural, observations of modern Japanese lives. And they appealed to me, who had spent quite some time in Japan, in every way. Hei!'s photos of rural Taiwan scenes are equally remarkable. He shoots like a folklorist, thus revealing a tender love for this land, our Motherland. Also, Hei! is a great chatmate. :-)
