Capturing bits of my life, an image at a time.
I've enjoyed photography for a long time. I think I bought my first camera when I was 12. I have piles of crappy photos to prove it. For some reason I kept a lot of them, even the ones that I should have burned (ex-boyfriends, people that I no longer talk to). I was a dedicated arts student in high school and college and was active in photography as well. The desire never diminished but the means did.
There have been and are many passions in my life; photography is an outlet for self expression, capturing moments, light and general strange things.
It's totally true that when ever you don't have your camera with you, you find the most interesting things to photograph. My best photos are ones that I did not plan or think of in advance. I do my best to carry a camera with me at all times and hope to capture at least some interesting images.
My collection includes:
FUJIFILM Finepixx S1000fd
SONY Cyber-shot DSC-P93A this sucker is pretty much dead
Balda Matic I - circa 1959, east Germany, range finder
Canon Rebel XT (film) SLR
Konica C35 - automatic exposure, range finder
Doggy - trash cam from Value Village
Weston - trash cam from V.V.
Snap-Crackle & Pop - cereal trash cam
I am glad that I can mess with the exposure on the digital and that there are other feature and toys that I have yet to discover.
In the mean time, enjoy and feel free to comment!
