When the well is dry, Kunja's photos are one of the first places I go for inspiration. There is an amazing range of approaches, concepts and moods in his work. Some of my favourite things about Kunja's images: His masterful use of tone and texture, the ghostly humanoid faces and figures, the scratched layers, the use of foreign scripts, the haunted landscapes, his daughter transformed into a lovely fairy tale creature. The message I take from his work: try everything.
