At KU Endowment, we have a passion for helping the University of Kansas — along with its students, researchers, faculty and staff — achieve its aspirations.

We are the official foundation for raising and managing private funds on behalf of KU. Our mission is to partner with donors in providing philanthropic support to

build a greater University of Kansas.

The support of donors helps make KU a world-class institution. State financing covers only about 21 percent of KU's total operating expenses. Therefore, private gifts play a major role in virtually all activities of the university.
