CURRICULUM VITAE AND ARTISTIC CAREER

Ksenija Kovačević was born on August 25, 1974 in Subotica, Serbia and Montenegro. She received her BFA (Painting major) from Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, in 1997. and her MFA (Painting major) from the same college in 2002. Her MFA thesis was Universal Language of Gestures.

In 2000 she attended The School of Theory and Art History by the Center for Contemporary Art in Belgrade.

She published and illustrated her research in 2001 as a book Manwatching project and vocabulary.

Author of project »Klangfarbenmelodie 2001» / multimedia happening (2001)

From 1997 she is a member of an art-group “Aufwiedersehen” with Milena Nena Popov (Zrenjanin-NYC)

and from 2005 she is also a member of group “S.K.U.P.” with Brane Sirca, Žiga Rehar from Ljubljana, Slovenia.
