I was born and raised in Southern California.

In 1995 I headed to east to attend NYU Tisch School of the Arts. A couple of years ahead of schedule, I took a leave of absence to sing on the cruise ship, Monarch of the Seas, Royal Caribbean Ltd.

While in the Caribbean I bought my first SLR and began capturing images of the land- and sea-scapes. One sunny afternoon I decided to take three photographs of a woman on the tender heading back to the ship. These three images would change my outlook on photography.

While I haven't studied in the art of photography, my deep interest made me decide to set up a small studio to begin photographing people in summer of 2003.
