I spend a hefty amount of my time in the woods of Oregon and the Pacific NW (mostly while out there for work), and I take pictures to show people what our various forests look like, the new and the old. I've found that the remaining wild and ancient forests are the most beautiful and vibrant and interesting - by a long shot! Mother Nature is the grandest of architects, and she does her best work when we leave her alone and let life flourish naturally.
