This Flickr page is really for my hobby ... Photography. I love photos because of the joy and longevity they possess and getting that perfect shot will always be an ambition.

GENERAL:

As well as general photography I love fashion/beauty shots as it allows me to excel in my Photoshop skills, mostly to 'tidy' up MY defects within in the photos I have taken and sometimes the talent being photographed (if they really need it, or request it). Digital photography has come a long way but the skill is still in getting the frame right and not on the computer. If you have a great shot in the first place then the digital tools will enhance what's already there.

MACRO/MICRO PHOTOGRAPHY:

I have started to get into Macro photography in a big way recently, well since Aug 2014 really. Mainly because of the use of Microscope objective lenses. Seems to be a craze on so i thought I'd poke me head in and have a go.

ASTRO PHOTOGRAPHY:

That's the next step, as in the other end of the spectrum to Micro Photography. Gathering gear as I type. Another expensive hobby.
