Kpop, born Kristofer von Popenstein III, is a well-known American comedian, author, and Nixon apologist from the late 1990's. His public displays of affection (PDAs) have garnered him widespread adoration from college-age liberals and middle-age hippies alike. His short film "The Golden Magpies" was voted third most-popular at the 1997 Vienna Film Festival and went on to be nominated for an academy award for best lighting in a foreign language film. His three part lecture series on the plight of man in the robot-controlled Earth of the future garnered him accolades in many underground scientific fiction circles. He is an outspoken critic of Icelandic post-rock band Sigur Ros and has named their break-up as his sole motivation in life.
