Hi everybody!

My name is Irina Koroleva. I am from Moscow, Russia. Perhaps some of you already know me from other doll resources and the CDDC contest (Couture Doll Design Challenge).

I missed the last two competitions, but in 2010 I took 2nd place, and in 2009 I came 4th.

I’ve been collecting dolls since April 2006, and my first doll was Isha Something Cool from Fashion Royalty. Now, my collection includes Fashion Royalty, Momoko, Sybarite, Tonner dolls, and some other brands.

I love making clothes for dolls; it’s like my childhood dream come true. I wanted to be a fashion designer when I was little. People say I am best at making lingerie and corsets for dolls. My style in fashion emphasizes sensuality.

I like to work with pure materials, and my favorite fabric is natural silk. I prefer clear constructions, but often use very complicated embellishments. I like beads, Swarovski crystals, pearls, lace, and feathers, but I always keep it balanced.

My favorite couturier is John Galliano. However, my inspiration often comes from the history of costumes. My favorite period in fashion history is "La Belle Époque" or the "Beautiful Era." This period was marked by extremely feminine, beautiful, and gorgeous outfits.

Lately, I’ve also started making realistic miniature flowers and bouquets which are suitable for dolls.

I enjoy photography and post-crossing. Wanna exchange some cards with me? Feel free!
