I'm originally a farm kid from the 218 area code. 18 months ago I moved into a St. Paul high rise and started messing around with a cheap camera and a tripod. I've learned quite a bit and spent a few pennies since then. My education in photography consists of once reading a pamphlet that explained the "rule of thirds." (it helped) The rest has been trial, error, delete keys, flickr, and rechargeable batteries.

I love the exploration of new things and places. I find myself appreciating and analyzing things I wouldn't have taken a second glance at before.
