As of 2022, I’m shooting digitally with Micro Four Thirds camera and also I’m learning to shoot film with Canon 50E (ELAN II). My interest in photography was sparked in 2005 by plane spotting, during the time when I was in high shool. I tried it with cameras which I borrowed from my relatives, but I really needed a telephoto, so I decided to purchase Canon 450D (Rebel XSi) in 2008. A year later, I created my Flickr account.

As social media became flooded with phone camera photos, I somehow lost interest. But in 2018, I decided to buy some additional gear (mainly a fast prime lens), and it helped me to concentrate on photography again. I’ve also recreated my aviation photography website kmnk.cz from scratch and I continue to upload my plane photos there. I still see a huge potential in Flickr and I hope that SmugMug can make it great again.
