I have been taking photos off and on since I was a child. Taking photos helps me slow down and really look at the world. I don't claim to be a professional by a long shot. It is simply something that I love to do. It connects me to something special that I began in my childhood as well as to the beautiful world around me.

Jonathan Livingston Seagull is one of my favorite books. I was touched and deeply moved by the story. Hence my screen name.
