Photography has weaved a light through my life since I was a child. As soon as I could read, I would pour over the photos and text in my family's collection of National Geographic. I saved up my pocket money to buy my first camera (a Kodak box brownie) when I was about 12.

After high school, I took photos only sporadically. Then, a couple of years ago, I started taking photos more regularly again, mostly on my frequent travels, but more and more at home too.

In early 2013, I was approached by Getty Images to become a Getty Images contributor for my some of my photos in developing countries.
