After about the first month of sittin in a gloomy blue jail cell, the outside world can become pretty distant. Especially for someone who spends most of his time outside, out in the forest, surrounded by nature. It gets hard to even remember what it’s like out there in the real world. I never really spent allot of time in jail, but enough to make me really appreciate a National Geographic. That’s were I found my initial inspiration for photography. Ya, I know, kinda lame right? But seriously, the photos you find in magazines like National Geographic never look better than when your looking at them while in the good old county slammer. Well, unless maybe, your fryin balls on shrooms, or rrrreeaally stoned, or..........
Ok, so about a year after I got out I bought a camera, and started shootin my first pics. I chose a “Pro-sumer” camera (Canon PowerShot S5 IS) to help familiarize my self with all the different aspects of photography before I go all the way. I’m glad I did, there’s a hell of a lot more to photography than I ever imagined. Now I can’t wait to get a “real” camera. This ones good, but I can definitely see the much greater possibilities of an $LR.
