I am really terrible at writing about myself. Currently, I work as support staff while I am going to school for education. I hope to be a junior high social studies teacher. I like to quilt, sew, and embroider. I used to knit, but it aggravates my tendinitis, so I don't anymore (still have a huge stash of yarn, though, always hopeful). I have two cats and two nephews (who live with their wonderful parents so I can spoil them and then leave them to their own devices). I blog too much, spend more time than I'd like doing homework, and start more projects than I finish.

For swappers:

I like pink, aqua, and greens. I love stripes.

I dislike red and grey (though in the right application, they are likable). I do not like grandma florals and batiks.

I have tons of pictures that I've favorited, so hopefully that helps explain my preferences better than I have here.

Additional note: This semester I have class on Tuesday and Thursday nights, and usually don't have time to check my stash or get packages ready for the mail on those days. It may take me a day or two to return Flickr mails - just wanted you to know that I'm not flaking out, just busy.
