kleine herzen is an Austrian charity fund which was founded in 2006 and is listed in the official register for associations and charities, number 286027694.
fettkleine herzen (which means “little hearts”) is dedicated to supporting orphans and poverty stricken children who live in Russia and the Ukraine. kleine herzen is run by a team of volunteers, most of whom have an economic or industrial background. The organisation is supported by celebrities such as Dominique Meyer, general director of the Vienna State Opera.
We care for the youngest and most vulnerable members of society who are in need and cannot speak for themselves. We want to improve the quality of life for orphaned and abandoned children, to enable them to continue to live in their native country in healthy and socially stable conditions and to be able to experience everything that is so important for a “little heart”: a solid base formed by affection and caring, love and education, a sound foundation on which to build the future.
Since 2010, kleine herzen bears the Austrian seal of approval for donations with respect of the compliances for charities. This national zeal is only given to regularly-audited charities.
