Kaghaz Kay Karnamay literally meaning "Paper Wonders" is a papermaking studio/project that began it's journey in 2010 with the aim of crafting fine quality handmade papers using found materials such as organic fibers and pre owned paper. At Kaghaz Kay Karnamay we prepare our goods mostly with post-consumer material, meaning that no new fibers are used in the production process.

We handcraft a large variety of paper styles and work with clients to create personalized paper goods. Our papers and products are unique, handcrafted, natural, tree-free, and recycled.

Kaghaz Kay Karnamay was set up as a papermaking facility that provides learning and business opportunities of the trade and helps in working towards the potential of hand paper making industry in Pakistan which contributes greatly to income generating activities and ensures functional literacy for the women and young adults of the villages who have no jobs. Kaghaz Kay Karnamay’s hand papermaking initiative not only conserves environmental resources but also helps in providing employment to people from the unskilled and marginalized strata of society.
