Although we have never met, in a strange way I think of Kendall as a very dear friend I have known forever. She often makes me smile in the silly, quiet way I do but more often than not, she makes me cry tears of joy for the beauty she sees in this world we share. Her photos and her words inspire me, and I am greatful to have stumbled upon that photo taken in Lesotho so many years ago, as that portrait has brought me a new friend.
