I have had several film snapshot cameras and got the digital bug in 1999 when I got to play with a friend's Sony Mavica. I kind of miss the Mavica and loved it for it's 10x optical zoom and the ability to fill a disk and hand it over to a friend or the photo subject. I think it's amazing that cellphones are now coming out with integrated cameras with higher resolution than my old trusty friend. Finally after years of camera envy...I own a DSLR camera and my next goal is a course or set of challenges to learn how and have photography fun.
