I consider myself a serious amateur photographer, my aim is to take photographs to document the beauty of the world around me, and have fun doing it!

I was born in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, but have lived in the Steveston area of Richmond, British Columbia, Canada for the majority of my life.

My interest in photography began purely as a hobby, but recently photography is becoming more of a passion to me. I would really like to take my art to the next level. I am constantly taking workshops and education sessions in order to improve and soak up as much information as I can.

I belong to a photography club, the Richmond Photo Club, where I do a lot of volunteering at local events hosted by the club or the city of Richmond. I am a member of numerous online photography groups including local photowalk groups. Some of my images have been featured in several gallery showings in Vancouver, BC.

I have been experimenting in all kinds of photography such as street, abstract, architectural, wildlife, macro and HDR, but I've found I really enjoy scapes (landscapes and waterscapes, usually as long exposures), both in black and white, and colour.

Most of my photographs were taken in the metro Vancouver area, including Richmond, Steveston, as well as the Gulf Islands and Vancouver Island.

During my time so far as a photographer, my style and technique has continued to develop but after every shot I take I learn something new or try something different.
