Recently my house was broken in, and my camera gadgets were stolen. Gone were my DSLR Nikon D70s with the kit lense 18-200mm VR, Sigma 10mm wide angle, Nikkor 18-70mm VR, SLR Nikon F65, Nikkor 70-300mm, SB-600 speedlight, various filters, batteries and CF cards. That include my Lowepro bag and my newly bought MacBook.

Therefore from now on, I may have to use a compact to shoot photos and it will take me years before I could buy back all the lenses again. I'm now using the Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ28 and I think it's a really good camera for a compact. Of course you can't compare that to a DSLR.
