Philosopher, psychologist, Kyoto, Japan.
In April in 2006 I was taken to the hospital for the treatment of cardiac infarction, but happily now I am now getting better though I will have to enter the hospital again this time for bypass surgery. I must have been overworking before I was struck down by sudden illness. It is a pity that I was obliged to quit my job as a teacher but it was necessary for me to postpone everything to my health. Now that I recovered my health I can walk a little bit around my house. At the same time I set about writing the manuscripts for the books I am to publish this year. Writing is a tough work, it is true, but I would not have recovered my self without writing. Though I cannot do without fear that I may have a fit of cardiac infarction again, taking pictures has become my favorite hobby, which makes it possible for me to forget fear of death. As a philosopher my experience was valuable in the sense that it has taught me the meaning of life better than before.

I had bypass surgery on May 14, which with my heart stopped lasted about four hours. It was on the third day since the surgery that I was allowed (or forced) to walk. If nothing particular happens, I will be able to leave the hospital on May 25.
It was in MarchI that I joined Flickr. Since then I have come to know many wonderful friend from all over the world. Flickr, as I understand, is not only a place for data preservation. Through one picture communication begins, which I have found very interesting.
I would be happy if you added me to one of your contacts.
Thank you for reading my profile.

Ichiro has a most delicate eye for nature and colours. The way he captures flowers, landscape is wonderful to look at. He likes austerity and directness, which reminds me of the main atrributes of poetic language, but many of his images also seem to imply a story, which shows a certain connection to narrative.
