Horses introduced me to photography. Horses, and a farm in Georgia. As I wrote before, horses and cameras go well together. They are both nourishing for the soul and bring a richness to life. And I got on Flickr, which 15, 16 years ago was hot. Then, after a while, I put my camera down.

Now, a few years later, I've picked up my camera again and WHADAYAKNOW??? Flickr is still hot !!!

My venue has changed from a farm in Georgia to the S. Carolina coast. I live on a marsh that is fed by the inland waterway that runs between us and Sullivan's Island. Since my old camera was in love with horses, and I no longer have them, I have a new camera that is in love with the shore birds here. Well, the shore birds and Charleston! Looking forward to picking up my journey on Flickr!!!
