Kirkhakkinen is an old term used in southwestern Finland – it's a synonym for Jackdaw Corvus monedula, a common crow-like bird living in cities and countryside. So, as You can probably guess, it is an alias.

 

I'm a 30-year-old copywriter, currently living in Lappeenranta, Finland. I'm an enthusiastic birdwatcher with a great interest in photography, music, writing, graphic design etc etc. So You might say that I have a lot of iron in the fire as the saying goes in Finnish...
