Recently I have been to wonderful cities Helsinki and Sapporo in winter. Particularly memorable was the visit to the Asahiyama zoo in Hokkaido, where I could see polar bears, seals, penguins, etc. I could even walk with the penguins on the snow in a parade at an arm's distance.
