More of a photo manipulator than a photographer, but I'm getting there. I still only use little point-and-push cameras though - I have a rather beaten up Sony Cybershot DSC-T9 which I bought for the image stabilisation and I was not disappointed.

God, that was years ago and it's still going (although the optical image stabilisation goes mental if the weather is too hot). I'm now looking at a Nikon 1...
