Hello to anyone who stops in to take a look . I lived in southwestern Illinois for most of my life but now reside in the Hudson Valley in Ulster county New York . I know very little about photography .. but I do own a few cameras .. a Pentax K20D DSLR, a Pentax K10D DSLR and a Sony Alpha A100 DSLR and I enjoy taking pictures . Some come out surprisingly well and others are pretty pathetic . I enjoy looking at the photos of others and hopefully I'll learn a little something from them . Thanks for stopping in and taking a look at mine.

Mike brings to all of us, what OUR naked eyes can not see. Captured in full detail and color. He takes "snap'n'amoment to a whole new level with his macro shots. In a moments time all would fly and jump away, Mike freezes in time! I can honestly say, he has become "The Perfect Photographer" of Nature!
Read lessMasterful Mike!! his insect macros are incredible!! If you want to see a real tour of back road buildings you have to visit his site!! His use of the Pentax K 10 D was one of the reasons I made that choice when I upgraded my camera. Keep up the good work Mike, you make us all try harder!
