NOTICE:

I have finally decided to let my PRO account lapse. I hung on as long as I could but now that my rates are more than double for this service that provides very little value for what I will pay for more, I'll be letting it lapse. This will likely mean lots of pictures will disappear when that happens in a few weeks. I will try to cull as much as I can and keep those recipes, techniques, and others that were of interest to people. The rest will be removed from here.

Photography to me has always been a fantastic tool to help extend my creativity. Every day I learn something new from it.

About Me:

I'm a professional and commercial artist for over 35 years with a background in corporate advertising and marketing. Former visual graphics department head for an applied arts college where I share my knowledge of marketing, photography, drawing, graphic design, art history, or general arts.

I've been photographing since I was 12 and have been an enthusiast since then.

My design and photography experience spans television, newspaper, magazines and the music industry such as CTV, CBC, MCA/Universal, Scientific America, American Machinist, Conde Naste Magazine, New York Times and many others. I've also worked in video production, animation, computer game production, and children's edutainment business.

I have been a guest speaker at numerous conferences and roundtable discussions on graphic design, marketing and digital imaging. Between teaching and my freelance work, I also conduct workshops of various aspects from my expertise (feel free to contact me for workshops and guest speaker appearances).
