Hi--

Back in 2007, a friend and I went to an airshow. I took a camera even though I really didn't know any more than "point and click". And, I really wasn't that good at the "point" part. But, that was enough to start a new hobby. You would think I'd know what I'm doing by now, but it seems that I learn something new every time I go out shooting. I guess that's the way it's supposed to be.

I haven't really determined what my "thing" is. It's basically just anything that I find interesting. I have many shots of planes, birds, and hot air balloons, so I guess that means I must like the concept of flight. I also enjoy animal shots and rarely pass up a chance to visit a zoo. I would enjoy landscapes, but I'm stuck in the middle of a big city, and my only times out of here are to visit a bigger city, so I'll have to stick with city shots for now. Fortunately, I really like those as well.

Thanks to all of you that leave faves and comments. I really appreciate it, and it definitely helps me grow in this hobby.

If you don't have much time to look through my photostream, I suggest checking out my Photostream Favorites album. There you can check out what I consider to be my greatest hits. I find that the photostream concept makes the older shots almost invisible, so checking out that album will help give them a bit of life.

Or, you can click here to see what Flickriver considers to be my most interesting shots.
