i don't use flickr much any more. since shooting mostly for professional purposes, most of my work is elsewhere. however, this is where it all started and i keep this is up as a blog, and also a humbling reminder of my point and shoot beginnings.

What can you even say about Kim? Not only is she a great photographer, but she is a great friend. I had the honor of shooting with her in DC for many a wedding, and we had so much fun. Kim is now a lifelong friend that I would gladly follow across the world. And I hope I do!

I met Kim in Amman at the Palace Hotel (don't let the name deceive you) and it seemed like she did a double-take when she saw me. At first I thought it was because I ooze beefcakeness but later I realized it was because I was the apparent love-child of two of her male friends. Over the next few days, Kim was host to a bevy of gastrointestinal bacteria and I got to know her quite well as she loitered in the hotel, usually in close proximity to the toilet. She, and her friend Kristen, made my stay more sufferable and I was truly sad to see her go.
