Kimberly Lightholder
Drag to set position!
i get asked this quite a bit, so i thought i'd put it right at the top - yes, my name really is 'lightholder', and yes, I am native american indian (modoc), but 'lightholder' is not an indian name... it's irish, and it's my husband's.

wife of a musician, mother to a miracle, dual citizen (irish/american), born in san francisco, california, now living with my family in the midlands of ireland.

photography is a life-long endeavour for me, one I dipped in and out of, depending on my budget for supplies, until the I bit the bullet and bought a dSLR... now the investment of all things post-capture is no longer an obstacle.
when i have my camera, i'm happy. i attribute this joy to my father who first showed me how to use the light meter in his c70's manual minolta when i was 10, and I've been fascinated ever since.

computer programmer by day, a musician by night, freelance photographer in most other hours, specialising in live band photography...
I've been emailed quite a few times for help or tips relating to live music photography as well as a few of my processing techniques. If you have a question, please feel free to ask either by FlickMail, or a comment, I'll happily tell you any info you want about a photograph.
If you'd like to use my photos, I'm always willing, just please ask me first.
