I was born and raised in Sweden, but have lived overseas for the last 30 years. While living in Tokyo, Japan, for over 12 years with my family , I fell in love with vintage kimono and obi fabrics and started collecting. I have used some fabrics in quilts, but when returning to the US, I started to design and sell greeting cards using these beautiful fabrics. Each design is hand cut which makes it quite time consuming assembling one card, but it also makes them unique, since not two cards look the same, due to the changing patterns of the kimono.
