I am not a photographer. I am just someone who likes to capture those special moments in life. However, my interest in photography has grown recently since I got my first DSLR shortly before our family vacation to Alaska. I learned just enough about the camera to take some decent pictures. After putting my vacation pictures here to share with my family and friends, I spent time on here looking at the many incredible pictures. I am now inspired to achieve more than just decent pictures. I am reading and learning but more importantly I am grabbing my camera and taking pictures. Some are decent, some are miserable failures, but a few have turned out much better than I expected (although still not great). As I go through this learning process, it will be fun to look back and see how my pictures have gone from decent, to good, to great...hopefully! Happy shooting :)
