I met Kim quite a few years ago now through another interest we both shared and since then have discovered we have many things in common, including a sense of the ridiculous and of course, a love of photography. To say I've been surprised at how she's mastering the art would not be quite correct because, from knowing her, I realise she has an insatiable appetite for learning and a never-ending curiousity. Through this, she is an amazing teacher. She is generous with her time and energies even though she is one of the busiest people I know. Kim is incredibly talented in many ways and has a quiet inner strength that has seen her achieve a diverse range of goals. In this respect she is a great role model, a brilliant mother and an awesome NANA! She is great fun to be around, incredibly funny, tremendously supportive to those she cares about and is a wicked friend to have! I thank her enormously for all that - and for the time she's taken to help me with my photography (which improved within two minutes of our first expedition!)

Thanks to your friendship I am keener than ever..Of course I havent been able to keep up with all that you have tried to teach me but slowly getting there...In the same time frame I feel that you have bounded ahead creating fabulous photography to such a professional level that I am at a loss to comment for fear of sounding silly...Such varied subjects and ways of presenting your photos one never knows just what to expect next...I wish you all the very best in your extremely busy life, always helping others in such a professional manner and stretching yourself to the limit. When somebody makes full series of macro photos, not only technically perfect, but highly creative and great looking, as you do, then I call it special.
