Happy New Year, Happy Mid Year and Happy Old Year! : )

I am in the lucky position of being able to travel extensively and fairly frequently. I want to record everything I see partly to learn more about what I've seen when we get home and partly to remind me of our trip in the years to come. If dementia sets in, they might be my only anchor to the person I am now. That's why there are so many of everything.

I am always on the lookout for new places to visit. I have been known to see a photo here on Flicker and build a 3000 mile European Road Trip around it. Your views of places are as important to me as those of my own. You show me our world through your eyes and I love traveling with you as much as I love setting off on my own travels. So, thank you for sharing.

All comments and critique are welcome and appreciated. I will respond as often as I can but I know I miss some due to not having complete access to the internet when I'm away from home. They are still precious to me, so thank you.

To be serious for a moment: whether I sell my photos or give them away, they are mine. If you like them enough to want to use them, I'd be over the moon. All you have to do is ask. I'm sure we could come to some arrangement.

If you are following more people than you can possibly interact with in a lifetime, please don't bother adding me to your list. It's a waste of both our time.

I love to look at Kim's work. I don't travel, but that doesn't mean that I don't have an interest in exploring the world. I love that through Kim's work, I get to have a vicarious sense of the traveller. I get to see the nooks and crannies of a given place, not just the post cards. This is important to having an enhanced experience. Thanks for granting me the pleasures of the trip, minus the lines and lack of leg room!
