K's work is subtle. It hums at a low level, pushing at the back of your head. There are occasional jolts of pitch, bursts of colour, staring eyes, crackling. Her people are sonorous, dancing together limb to limb. Each house is a cave, every animal a footstep, an echo. They are that beautiful.
