I thought perhaps I should expand a bit on my profile. So here goes... I have been using a camera since I was about 9 when my father bought me a small Argus Reflex camera.
My next camera was a poloroid black and white instamatic. I finally purchased an Olympus OM-1 when I was in Highschool as part of the Year Book sports photography group.
I studied photography at UNM in the early 80's then life took me in other directions. I spent a lot of time with my family and taking photos of my children as they were growing up.
I got involved in the arts again through my love of pottery, but have always enjoyed photography. I would like to credit the talented photographers in the Albuquerque Santa Fe Social Group for inspiring me to push myself more.
I'm always awed at the ways we can see a subject and then someone else uses their creative insight to change, manipulate or just show a new angle. I love to hear comments about what you think of my work. I don't mind creative criticism and aspire to improve or stretch my sight further. I like getting out and spending time by myself quietly listening or looking at my surroundings.
