A self-confessed mosaic maniac, I am, by trade, a sound engineer. I work a day job because I have to. I also have a small mosaic business that is my sanity.
My parents met in an airport and I do believe that is the reason for my gypsy blood - I love to travel! Although born and bred in Australia, I have lived a good part of my life OS. The best cities being San Francisco and Paris.
I keep a blog about mosaics at kimgrantmosaics.wordpress.com

Kimbo ROCKS! Additionally, Kim Grant makes incredibly beautiful mosaics, writes a kick-ass blog and is a great pal...intelligent, sweet, uber-cool. I am a better person for knowing her. xoxo Stacy
If there was an International Mosaic Ambassador, it would be Kim Grant. I don't know anyone who has more passion, curiousity, and wonder for mosaics than Kim. If there was an International Mosaic Ambassador, it would be Kim Grant. I don't know anyone who has more passion, curiousity, and wonder for mosaics than Kim. Through our flickr-relationship and delving into all of her mosaic-themed photos, I've not only gotten to know and appreciate her work, but she's taken me on an eye-opening global mosaic tour. This has deepened my understanding of mosaics as an art form in and of itself, but also as a cultural phenomenon. I am grateful to her for adding to the body of knowledge that exists; I wonder if she realizes that she is doing so much more than "posting photos". I doubt she cares about this, but I think she deepens the legitimacy of mosaics as a fine art form. And, on a more personal, but not altogether unconnected, note, she's made me a website that is so freakin' spectacular I practically wet my pants every time I click into it! She was so easy to work with (and considering she's in Australia and I'm in California, that's saying something!) and neither one of us incurred a single long-distance charge. We did the entire thing by email! My website, and her blog articles, have raised my OWN legitimacy as a fine art mosaic artist. I'm so grateful to her for that too. Thank you, Kim! What a MAJOR support you've been! ~Susan Crocenzi
