I am the queen. Queen Who or Queen of What, you may be wondering. Well, I am not really sure. But I do like being a queen, because queens are womanly. I'm not a bossy queen, just a feminine one, and obviously, a self-appointed one. And I am low maintenance, trust me. A lovely friend has nicknamed me the Elf Queen.

Over the years, I have struggled a bit to find the right feminine name to fit me. When I began my internet presence around the year 2001, I chose the name Susan (or Susie). A couple of years later, I decided that Kimberly (or Kim) was a better fit. But I am still toying with this issue, and I think it's OK to do that. So with that in mind, I love the name Stella. I will answer to Stella or Kim or Kimberly. Although generally speaking I prefer to be called Stella, I am not planning to jettison my Kim or Kimberly affiliation, because so many friends have known me by those names over the years. Hopefully I have not confused you by going down this little rabbit hole! :-)

I very much enjoy hearing from others with an interest in glamour, femininity, and similar topics. I've posted a few videos on YouTube in addition to my long term affiliation here with Flickr.

Please don't ask me to do instant messaging (e.g. Google Hangouts). I am not interested in instant messaging. Email is my preferred way of communicating, and for those select few (maybe about ten or so Flickr friends out of my 3,400 + followers) who have my cell phone number, texting is fine most of the time. Those who have my phone number understand what I mean. Texting and instant messaging are not the same thing. I have no interest in instant messaging and I appreciate your understanding regarding this.

While it's nice to see the occasional "amazing transformation" on the internet, in which a very masculine male can be made to look pretty, when it comes to transformations I am much more impressed with folks who are androgynous and already look astonishingly beautiful and feminine without lots of makeup and wigs.

If you send me a Flickr mail, I will do my best to reply to you in a timely manner. My only request is to try to be courteous and polite. I will then do the same for you. I love hearing from anyone who is reasonably sane--guys, TGs, and GGs. Notice that I said "sane". If you are crazy, please don't contact me, ha ha. In case you're wondering, I'm a fairly petite girl (height a bit under 5 ft 7 in and weight about 140 lbs). I am comfortable with all aspects of being a woman. I'm fine corresponding with guys, and some of the nicest people I've met are men. Mostly I just ask folks to treat me as they would wish to be treated.

Please don't ask me to post or send you revealing pictures or videos, because the answer will be no. What you see here in my Flickr photo stream is more or less what you are going to get. I can be a bit flirty, but that's about the extent of it. There aren't any "special" images for those who add me as friends or family, although I of course appreciate it when others extend the hand of friendship. And kindly don't send me inappropriate images of yourself either. Thanks for your understanding.

I delight in blurring the gender lines. If you want to think of me as a fem-boy, a she-male, a ladyboy or a Nancy boy, I am fine with that and I'm not going to get fussy about the terminology as long as it's not derogatory. The only caveat is, please don't refer to me as a guy in a dress or a guy in a skirt. I'm neither one of those things. Regardless of where you are on the gender spectrum, all of us who have ties to the TG community are kindred spirits in some way.

If you view my photo stream, you'll notice that I've posted quite a variety of pictures. For example, many are outdoor scenes with me in them, some are glamour shots, some are office lady looks, some are very casual clothing/casual footwear photos, and some are 'girls day out at the mall' type photos. In other words, a wide spectrum of feminine looks. Part of the reason I posted a wide variety is that I wanted to avoid the typical "crossdresser in a hotel room" photo series that some folks have. To each his own, and I definitely understand that because of their life situation, for some people the only chance they ever have to get dolled up is privately, in a hotel room. But I think it's important to emphasize my mainstream approach to things. When I have a chance to get out and about, I want to do the same types of things any genetic girl (GG) does. For these reasons, some of my favorite photos of myself have been taken outdoors in very public, mainstream settings. And I prefer a more minimalist look (everyday realism) rather than a totally dolled up look. Hope this makes sense. I strive to look like the proverbial "girl next door". Have a look at the JJill or Sundance catalogs to see the women I am trying to emulate.

It might be the case that I shouldn't be giving advice to anyone on how to improve their look, but if someone does happen to be looking for tips on how to look their best as a lady out in public, here are my suggestions: Less is more, so don't overdress and don't put on too much makeup. That seems to be the most common mistake people make. Observe what most genetic females are wearing, and then develop your own signature style based on the best attributes of what you observe in them. Of course, the setting, the season, who you are with, and other factors will be important to consider too. But if you wear a fancy blouse, a tailored skirt, pantyhose, and high heeled pumps every single time you go out, no matter the occasion, you might want to take a good look in the mirror and make some adjustments. This look might work in an office setting, but it won't work in the blazing heat at a shopping mall on a Saturday afternoon when almost every female is wearing shorts and flip flops....just something to consider if you want to blend in.

TURN ONs:

- Dark hair (on myself).

- Getting up early to eat a pastry and drink fresh hot coffee.

- People who pay careful attention to their complete look (clothing, hair, makeup, shoes, jewelry, fragrance, etc.) to be the very best version of themselves.

- Pink lipstick and pink blush.

- Silky smooth legs and nail polish.

- Leg wear, including sheer pantyhose and tights.

- Opaque tights with boots during cool weather.

- Ladies footwear that is stylish and feminine without being over the top. Three inch heels are the maximum for me.

TURN OFFs:

- Overly aggressive people. Especially pushy guys, but anyone who is too pushy. If you want to get to know me, please be patient. A good friendship is like fine wine. It takes time.

- Staying out really late (sorry, but I am not a night owl).

- People who have no interest in keeping fit or having a healthy lifestyle, and let themselves and their health go downhill as they get older.

- People who write in a sloppy way, without paying attention to grammar, syntax, spelling, etc.

As far as Flickr friends go, I am pretty open minded. But I am not into stuff like bondage, porn, or seeing pictures of the "thingy" between your legs, so if you're into that, please look elsewhere. If you have pornographic photos or videos in your photo stream or your favorites, please don't favorite my photos and please don't contact me. You will save both of us time and trouble. Regarding porn, I would share something the Australians often say: “Have some standards, mate!” Tattoos and multiple body piercings are not my thing either, although it's totally your right if you're into that. It's just not my cup of tea, that's all.

I would like to thank all of you out there for taking time to view my photos. My all time view count here on flickr.com is around 20.1 million. Your support is a source of pride and inspiration for me, especially in light of the fact that I no longer have the sweet bird of youth! Your continuing interest and kind comments are very much appreciated. :-) There are others who have many times more views than me, although my take on that is...I'm not so young anymore, not particularly photogenic, don't post huge numbers of photos, and don't strive to be flashy. My goal is more of an everyday sort of look. Those who have met me in person consistently say I look better in person than I do in photos.

The vast majority of my photos are un-retouched and have not been airbrushed or otherwise altered in any way (except for cropping). I'm not a big fan of airbrushing and altering photos, because it usually makes them look fake. At last count, I think only two or three of my 500+ public photos have been airbrushed or photoshopped. And of course I don’t use AI to create my images. So you get to see the 'real me' here. Some folks have told me that I look like I am about 50 years old. Such people are very kind and I love hearing those kinds of compliments. I hope you like what you see here. If so, please let me know with a photo comment or Flickr mail. Note that I have not had any surgeries: No facial feminization surgery, no breast enhancement, etc. So what you are seeing in my images is a very natural look.
