My name is Sergey.

I'm a photographer and graphic designer who made a conscious decision to leave the noise and rush of big-city life behind and move to the countryside.

I've always been fascinated by people. Even as a child, I wondered why we were all so different — how each person could see the same world in their own unique way, feel things differently, and carry an entire universe inside them.

I thought growing up would help me understand people better. But now, as a reasonably grown-up man (or, as the beloved storybook character Karlsson would say, a man in his prime), I find myself just as curious as ever.

What fascinates me most is not what people choose to show the world, but what they keep hidden beneath their everyday roles, expectations, insecurities, and carefully constructed masks.

That's where I believe real beauty lives.

Photography, for me, is a way of discovering that beauty.

I am particularly drawn to portrait photography — not simply creating an attractive image, but capturing something honest and deeply personal. A fleeting expression, an unguarded smile, a moment of vulnerability, a quiet confidence that someone may not even recognize in themselves.

I don't believe you need to know how to pose or feel comfortable in front of a camera to have a beautiful portrait. In fact, some of the most meaningful photographs happen when people stop trying to look a certain way and simply allow themselves to be.

My approach is built around trust, conversation, natural emotions, and the freedom to be yourself.

This philosophy inspired my personal portrait project, NAKED SOUL.

It's an exploration of authenticity, vulnerability, individuality, and the beauty we often overlook in ourselves. Through these portraits, I try to go beyond appearances and reveal something that feels genuinely human.

My background in graphic design also shapes the way I photograph. I pay close attention to composition, light, color, atmosphere, and the smallest visual details. But technical perfection is never my ultimate goal.

A photograph can be perfectly composed and still say nothing. I'd rather create an imperfect image that makes you feel something.

Today, living closer to nature has given me a different rhythm of life and a deeper appreciation for simplicity, silence, and genuine human connection.

And perhaps that's what I'm ultimately looking for in photography: a chance to see people as they truly are, and to help them recognize something beautiful in themselves.
