Testimonials

To put it simply, Jacky was born to do this; to remind us that our loveliness is a reflection of this lovely world - full of lush beauty and color at every turn and in every moment! "There is a light that shines Special for you and me!"

i follow jacky's stream from about day one or two... in such cases it becomes almost difficult writing something senseful and appropriate, especially if this happens to be the second testimonial you ever wrote in your flickr-life. so i held up, until today. but while commenting one of his pictures, just a bunch of minutes ago, i saw the *metaphorical* light. so i'll expand a bit. just two words of advice to whomever happens to pass on this page: please take ten or twenty minutes off and have a look, really have a look at this man's galactic portraiture work, to begin with. it takes a huge heart to see humans the way he does, the skill laying in heartbeats synching in the only possible moment, the only available one, not a zeptasecond too soon or too late. and there's, to the best of my knowledge, nothing like that around, except here. and i can't help but think that whenever in the future we'll be looking back at this fleeting times it won't be stupid gadgets and poses making it through, but this: superb humanity captured by superb eyes. titling one of his best pictures he wrote: wherever you sit you can see the sun... my lousy words are just a big thank you for the finger pointing!

I can't believe I have not yet written a testimonial about you. Kija, a big man with a big heart… and a very talented photographer also! Keep it real my friend! Peace!
