I am a teacher (computers, robotics, and digital media), a freelance media producer (photography, video, graphic design, animation and web development), and a hobbyist musician (guitar, mandolin, concertina, Novation X-Station keyboard, Theremax theremin, vocoder, bass guitar, electronic drums, and Atari 2600 playing SynthCart)

Photos tend to represent one of two things:

1) An artistic, aesthetically-pleasing visual

2) A captured feeling, memory, or moment in history

Ideally, a photo will encapsulate both of these things at the same time, but this is not always possible. If you look through my photos, do not expect every one of them to be a masterpiece or a work of art; I am using Flickr to store and share a variety of photos I have taken. Some of them will be great, others may seem mediocre but they are memories and history to me, so they are here nonetheless.

I consider myself "semi-professional", since I teach photography and several of my photos have been published and have won awards.
