Recently I passed a closed down store filled with stoves. I pass this store everyday and never pay it any mind. It's just there... background noise. But yesterday? Yesterday I stopped and really looked at it. Even pulled out my camera and wondered if I could sneak my way in. This is something I blame totally on Ms. Kicey. Through her work, she's opened my eyes to things I wouldn't care about or would simply pass by. I've got a whole new sense of Sight that I can only attribute to having found her. I couldn't begin to say thank you enough. So yeah... she rocks. :)

Neue is a cool girl. Her photos range from colourful montages to gentle, peaceful, "just captured a moment" to quirky, adventurous, fun images! She does it all and somehow makes it look easy. Her self portraits are masterful and fearless! She takes images that most of us would never dream of attempting for risk of not having them work out. I am learning so much from neue in how to improve my photography, pay more attention and more confidently take risks without fearing that my photos won't stand up to criticism. Neue is all that in addition to being a beautiful, cooperative subject of her own art. I continue to be in awe of her!
