In September 1917, two schools moved into their new building at Amber and Cumberland Streets in Philadelphia and became an independent school - Kensington High School. The original building houses two themed high schools to this day, and two additional schools moved out to modern facilities.

I am a teacher at Kensington High School for the Creative and Performing Arts, who discovered boxes of stored material while packing for our move from the original building. I am working to post images and other documents as they are unpacked and scanned. They will be grouped as sets as they are found. If I pull an envelope from a box, its contents will be scanned and become a set. Any captions will be added as a description, as I am doing my best to decipher handwritten notes.

This project will be ongoing, and will be updated as documents are scanned and processed. If you can help with identification of any item posted, please let me know.

Thank you for your interest.
