An educational nonprofit, the mission of the Knoxville History Project is to research, preserve, and promote the history and culture of Knoxville, Tennessee.

These photographs were shared through KHP's Knoxville Shoebox initiative by members of the local community, and a few out of towners, who experienced the 1982 World's Fair.
