Equipment:

Early travelling photos (2005-Australia, Fiji, New Zealand, South East Asia and India) taken with a Kodak CX7430 Zoom {point and shoot}.

Now use Canon 350D with kit lens (18-55mm), recently bought 18-200mm (Sigma OS) and Canon 50mm f1.8 ... for my trip to South America (end of May 08).

Occasionally use Canon Digital Ixus70 - when don't want to carry DSLR.

Most of my photos are straight out of the camera (SOOC) as I have yet to get to grips with PS or any kind of photo manipulation software (which is on my to do list ...) - but it's the taking of the photographs that interests me the most, the opportunity to venture out with nothing but what the world has to offer and my camera. Which brings me on to the profile name 'Khaotic Serenity' {my initials being KH} – I am known to have an over analytical mind (the chaos part), a passion for Pure maths and abstract art/concepts, a love for nature and a never ending array of unanswered questions/feelings; constantly evaluating everything; but when I am surrounded by rolling hills, deserted beaches, gorgeous flowers, magical sunsets, friendly laughter, festival tunes, interesting cultures; I am at my happiest- and occasionally the camera allows me to capture a moment, a serene moment in all that chaos.

Unfortunately due to work, I like many other people find I have very little 'creative' time. This has to change at some point .... but until then I can but enjoy life to the best of my ability, laugh, be kind and considerate, contemplate and take photographs.
