amateur travel photographer
IMHO, photography is an art, not a digital mumbo-jumbo of the features of a device (as it is rapidly becoming these days). as long as the end result is beautiful, nobody cares.
i started shooting just ten years ago with some free film and dad's crummy old yashica fx-3. today i am trying my hand at digital. of course, i still shoot with film.
people ask me if i edit my images. hell yeah! if the ultimate aim of photography is to please, you too photoshop - please!
if you must know, i shoot with a canon EOS 450D. It is rather light and works well for travel, as is how i shoot most of the time. most of the older pics here were taken on my sony p&s and my faithful Nokia N95. i still use it for those 'spur-of-the-moment' ; 'why-didnt-i-get-my-camera-with-me-today!!' shots..
but i am not at all a person who believes in tools.
i hope to upload my older film pictures soon.
if you use my work, please let me know, and i would appreciate it being attributed back to me.
by profession, i am an architect and designer. i live and work in london, united kingdom
