Graduate of the University of Washington with a BA in the history of art and architecture, particularly interested in Mannerist + Baroque architecture, Flemish Renaissance painting and a special place in my heart for American artists like Edward Hopper and John Singer Sargent.

I've been involved with cameras for more than half my life, and I hope that relationship never dwindles. I am particularly interested in both architectural and food photography -- working on building up a workable home studio to produce the kinds of prints I want to see. I'm working with a basic Canon Rebel XTi (pretty much exclusively 50mm f1.4) and my trust iPhone.

I'm a complete bibliophile, design dork and camera snob.
